Powering Our Neighbourhoods More Sustainably

At Grifo Developments, creating thriving neighbourhoods means taking responsibility not only for the homes we deliver and manage, but also for the environmental impact of the places we operate. We are therefore pleased to announce that all electricity serving our communal areas across our operational neighbourhoods, together with electricity used on our construction sites, is now covered by a British Gas Zero Carbon Electricity for Business Certificate. The certificate confirms that 100% of the electricity supplied to Grifo Developments will be backed by a mix of Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs) and nuclear declarations for the period 13 June 2026 to 12 June 2027.

While reducing energy consumption remains our first priority, sourcing lower-carbon electricity is an important part of our wider approach to environmental stewardship. From the communal spaces within our residential communities to the energy required to support construction activity on site, this commitment helps reduce the carbon intensity of our operations while contributing to the long-term resilience of our developments.

This achievement forms part of our broader Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, which focuses on delivering sustainable places, supporting local communities and operating responsibly across every stage of the development lifecycle.
