Spreading Easter Joy: Supporting Reed Maidstone’s Charity Collection
Grifo Developments is proud to support Reed Maidstone’s annual Easter Egg and Crafts collection, helping bring smiles to children and families supported by two remarkable local charities: Crossroads Care Kent and Demelza Hospice Care for Children.
The initiative encourages local businesses to donate Easter eggs and craft items, which are then distributed to families supported by these organisations across Kent.
Gemma Barrett, Executive Assistant, Grifo Development says “Community initiatives like this are a wonderful reminder of how businesses can come together to support families who need it most. We’re proud to play a small part in helping make Easter extra fun!.”
Crossroads Care Kent provides vital support to unpaid carers across the county. Their mission is to help carers maintain a life of their own alongside their caring role by offering respite services, practical support and guidance.
A key part of their work is the Young Carers Service, which supports carers under the age of 18. The programme provides tailored resources and advocacy to help young carers balance their responsibilities with school, friendships and everyday life.
The collection also supports Demelza Hospice Care for Children, which provides specialist care to children with serious or life-limiting conditions across Kent, South East London and East Sussex.
Demelza’s dedicated teams offer clinical, emotional and practical support for the entire family. Their work focuses on creating meaningful moments, providing comfort through difficult times and ensuring families never face their journey alone.
Community-led efforts like this remind us how powerful collaboration can be.
We’re grateful to Reed Maidstone for organising this initiative and proud to play a small part in helping make Easter a little more special this year.
